Ecuador has everything it takes to grow great arabica coffee. Positioned between Colombia and Peru, the interior mountain ranges have plenty of altitude, weather patterns, and ideal soil for quality coffee production. Our Ecuador 'Strictly Hard Bean' arbica coffee is strong and full of flavour, with a delicious aftertaste. This coffee is produced by village small-holders from the wilderness of the Western & Eastern Highlands heading south into the lower altitudes of Lae and Popondetta. The coffee has traditionally had a full bodied fruity character, with a clean finish.

The Chaiapas reserve contains Mesoamerica’s largest continuous cloud forest, and it serves as a refuge to thousands of plant and animal species. El Triunfo is a rare and valuable sanctuary requiring continued protection. this coffee has a light body with a mild, sweet intensity. There are notes of banana, nuts and cocoa with a praline charm. Liz (our Master Coffee Roaster) has created a fantastic coffee blend that represents the best coffees being roasted at the moment. This belnd is dark and smooth with a long and lasting aftertaste.

What You Will Get

All of our coffee is freshly roasted by us at our traditional family-run coffee roastery in rural Kent. You will receive a bag of coffee that is very much a premium product, where the aromas and flavours will be exceptionally delicious, and remarkably better than what you may be used to from the supermarket

About Brewing This Coffee

This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappucino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and turkish brewers.

27-Jan-10 - found out about this site a few days ago.sounded good so i placed my first order.i ordered this months coffee promo bundle and it arrived today.great service and first class packaging for the coffee beans.out came the burr grinder and my trusty filter machine.a few minutes later and i was drinking the best cup of filter coffee i had ever tasted.by the way i used the kenya peabody beans.the amazing flavours linger for ages.i will only ever be buying my coffee beans here from now on as i am extremely inpressed and looking forward to tasting the other types.roasting just before delivery makes a huge impact on the quality.well done coffeebeanshop. 10 out of 10
