About Our Daterra 'Sunrise' Coffee Beans

Daterra is the first Brazilian plantation to be certified by the Rainforest Alliance, and is the only Brazilian plantation that has all of the Brazilian coffee bean quality accreditations.

The Daterra 'Sunrise' is so called because the coffee beans are harvested exclusively from the hillsides that face the Brazilia sunrise in the morning. The coffee cherries are also harvested at sunrise, which is supposed to have a positive impact on the flavour of the coffee beans.

This coffee is a beautifully satisfying espresso coffee with a lovely deep crisp chocolate and nut flavour base with extraordinary sweet citrus notes. This coffee is grown primarily to work brilliantly in espresso machines, but is also delicious in other brewing methods.

What You Will Get

All of our coffee is freshly roasted by us at our traditional family-run coffee roastery in rural Kent. You will receive a bag of coffee that is very much a premium product, where the aromas and flavours will be exceptionally delicious, and remarkably better than what you may be used to from the supermarket

This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappucino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and turkish brewers.
