About Our Mexican Altura Chiapas Fair Trade Coffee Beans

A coffee with lively acidity and a caramel flavor. This coffee is produced by Finca Triunfo Verde Sociedad Civil, a fair-trade certified coop located within the buffer zone of El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve.

This coop was founded in 2001, and contains 262 members. Located in the highlands of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas, El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve is one of the world’s most diverse forest reserves. This reserve contains Mesoamerica’s largest continuous cloud forest, and it serves as a refuge to thousands of plant and animal species. El Triunfo is a rare and valuable sanctuary requiring continued protection

Light body, mild intensity, sweet. There are notes of banana, nuts and cocoa with a praline charm

What You Will Get

All of our coffee is freshly roasted by us at our traditional family-run coffee roastery in rural Kent. You will receive a bag of coffee that is very much a premium product, where the aromas and flavours will be exceptionally delicious, and remarkably better than what you may be used to from the supermarket

This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappucino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and turkish brewers.
