Colombia has been producing great coffee beans since the early part of the 19th century. During the last century, coffee has become Colombia's main export. The main coffee growing regions in Colombia are: Antioquia, Risaralda, Norte de Santander, Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Quindo, Caldas and Bucaramanga (where CoffeeBeanShop.co.uk's Colombian Coffee originates).
I’m quite nostalgic about this one. During a buying trip to Colombia, I visited a number of farms and met some great friends along the way. Whenever I drink Colombian coffee it reminds me of those few days bumping along in an old minibus followed by armed guards – a trip I’ll never forget!
This smooth coffee is rich and truly delicious and one of our top three best sellers alongside the Monsooned Malabar and Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

One of the most distinctive attributes of a good Colombian coffee bean is it's body. It is rich and delicious, with a pleasant aftertaste that lingers. The flavour of our Bucaramanga arabica coffee is both full and complex, but with good balance.

Really great Coffee. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe used to be my favourite, but the Bucuramanga is tastier, and less fruity/complex.Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By Mike Jackson

Amazing fresh coffee that produced a nice crema, the coffee beans arrived very fast in small bags to keep freshness, would definitely order again ðŸ˜Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By Rhys Jose

Wonderfully balanced smoother than silk coffee. I agree with the previous post that it can be a bit acidic if it's not prepared right, but that's not really the coffee's fault.Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By Jordan Forster

This is a lovely coffee when made right but can be a little sour if prepared wrong. I generally grind my beans on a cup by cup basis, and use only Vittel Mineral water for my brew. The Columbian beans produce a lovely smooth shot when done this way but I did on one occasion have to use tap water straight from the tap, and this resulted in quite a sour overbearing result that I haven't previously noticed with other beans.
That aside, these beans give a lovely smooth, tasteful brew. I'll definitely buy again.Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]By Marc Butterworth

My first purchase from CBS and my first tasting of the Colombian Bucaramanga.
The last time I regularly ground my own coffee was well over twenty years ago while living in Putney and you could buy freshly roasted beans from a shop next to the railway station, unfortunately it closed down. The aroma from the shop was its best selling point and grinding coffee while it was warm, fresh from the roaster was an absolutely divine way of experiencing coffee.
Despite no longer having a hand grinder and using a blender to 'grind' the coffee, all I can say was the first tasting of coffee of the Colombian was pure nostalgia in a cup and purely based on that I would rate this coffee first class.
The aroma of the bean prior to grinding is wonderfully pungent and full. Post grinding the room is filled with a warm rich fragrance. I cannot rate this as I have only a twenty year memory to compare this with. I do say however - memories and expectations fulfilled.
I shall try and rate the other coffee blends and single sources from CBS. I have purchased a wide selection but I shall take my time and savour them as slowly as I dare - starting on the Brazilian FC Fazenda Sao Geraldo.
I use a large cafetiere and I like a strong concentrated cup of coffee so I probably put more coffee in than others would and use a medium grind (in my case 10-15secs on the blender)Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By Richard Jewell
