Ethiopian Yirgacheffe - Review
Everybody's taste is different. To my mind on its own this is a top quality after-dinner coffee with what I have heard described as a "wine-like" taste. I find it a bit too 'rich' for a truly refreshing breakfast cup.
On the other hand for drinking throughout the day I mix my own blend of beans (Monsoon Malabar, Costa Rican, Colombian and Yirgacheffe - if anyone is interested) of which the Yirgacheffe is only 11%. Without the Yirgacheffe the blend is a bit too 'flat' with it the blend really comes alive. I think this is a testament to what the Yirgacheffe could bring to any blend you might want to try.By St John Hattersley
