This is my son Ollie’s favourite coffee. It’s the one he first tried when he was helping me out at the home roastery after school when he was only just a teenager. So, it has a special place in our heart and it’s still his favourite now to drink as well as one of his favourites to roast.

It’s a typical South American coffee  with its indicative flavours of vanilla and cocoa. The light-bodied sweetness makes it a coffee that is a real crowd pleaser and ideal for ending a nice meal. Fantastic to drink on its own but also works extremely well in blended coffees, in fact it appears in 3 of our 5 blends.

Coffee arrived in Guatemala from the Caribbean around 1700 and local cultivation began shortly after. Commercial export of Guatemalan Coffee Beans did not begin until the mid 1800’s.
