As one of our strongest coffees, this Indian blend is the perfect coffee to pick you up the morning after the night before. Robusta is in this blended coffee as it’s known for its strength, crema and higher caffeine content as well as adding the right level of bitterness that some coffee drinkers yearn.
Tiger Stripes takes its name from the crema formation when it pulls through as an espresso shot. The crema layer resembles a mottled, tiger like appearance when filtering at its desired consistency.
Suitable for all brewing methods, but good as an espresso as it cuts through the creaminess in longer milky drinks.
When the coffee is selected from the regions of Coorg, Wayanaad & Chikmagalur it is blended, roasted and tasted so that, when pulled as an espresso it produces delicate dark orange stripes in the crema of the espresso.

Got the Aeropress back out for the first time in a while - to take to work - so I bought a selection of coffees.
This proved to be my favourite by far. Using it to make 2 shots per day for either an afternoon americano, or a couple of espressos to keep me perky, I've gone through an entire 250g bag in less than 3 weeks.
The smoothness of the blend has helped my bid to be healthier, in that I'm not having to add sugar or milk to offset bitterness. The pure coffee flavour with hints of mocha and caramel needs no assistance!

Every time I think I've found my favorite coffee from The Coffee Bean Shop I discover a "new" favorite! Tiger Stripes is a wonderful coffee blend. Really smooth, not a hint of bitterness and has a slight chocolate / caramel under tone. It also produces a really deep, rich crema that lasts well.Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By Paul Dale

I bought this last summer. Sorry, but this is the ONLY coffee from years of buying from the Coffee Bean Shop that we didn't like. We found the flavour strange and there was a bitter aftertaste, and it had no aroma at all. I can't be more specific since I've left it so long to review, but never again!Rating: [1 of 5 Stars!]By Lorna Irwin

You can tell by the aroma of the beans that this coffee will be great. As an espresso it produces a lovley crema. The coffee is smooth and strong with bitter caramel finish with a touch of bitter chocolate. makes a wonderful cappucchino with chocolate sprinkle enhancing the chocolate undertones. Can't wait to try it Turkish style. Very satisfying!!! :)Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By tina heron

Produces a very smooth espresso that is easy to drink, with a nice biscuity taste. Doesn't have the kind of kick to it that I like for espressos, but I have found that it makes a delicious latte.Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]By Peter Lonsdale
