Mocha Guatemala Blend

£6.45

A nostalgic mocha blend with moreish hints of fruit and chocolate. See further product details below.

Total:

Our famous first blend was created from my home roastery when I set up the business over 10 years ago.  With a scant selection of only five types of beans to choose from, as I could afford no more in the very early stages of the business, I wanted to create a mocha that I would like.

So, I selected the finest Ethiopian beans and blended them with just the right amount of Guatemalan, to create this firm favourite which remains in the selection of coffees today.

This moreish blend can be used in all brewing methods, but my favourite way is as an espresso shot combined with steamed full fat milk to drink as a flat white.

The complex Ethiopian Mocha combines with the floral and rustic notes of a great Guatemalan. The end result is a complex fruity initial flavour, followed by mixed chocolate and earthy body with great 'mouth feel'. The after taste is long and pleasant.

What You Will receive

All of our coffee beans are freshly roasted by us at our traditional family run coffee roastery in rural Kent. You will receive a bag of coffee that is very much a premium product, where the aromas and flavours will be exceptionally delicious and remarkably better than what you may be used to from the supermarket.

About Brewing This Coffee

This coffee works fantastically well in all brewing equipment, including espresso / cappuccino machines, cafetiere pots, paper / metal filter brewers, and Turkish brewers.

Guatemalan and Ethiopian coffee, its chocolate and toffee sweetness all the way. Smooth, rich and with loads of milk, a great alternative to a hot chocolate.

I've tried virtually all the coffees from the Coffee Bean Shop, including the worlds most expensive. My favourite, by a margin, is the Mocha Guatemala blend. Smooth and delicious with a hint of chocolate. Fantastic.Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By Eric Robinson

A very pleasant coffee but didnt quite have the depth of flavours that I was hoping for. Could very happily drink it every day but it didnt stand out for me.Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]By susan marshall

For many months now this has been our number one favourite, both rich and smooth. However, beware if you are a coffee addict: its full flavour with just a hint of chocolaty bitter edge is very moreish.

We have a wide range of coffee making equipment, but the best cup comes from one of the most inexpensive. Since purchasing an Aeropress from here, we have rarely used anything else.

We drink this all the time. Always say Ahhh after the first mouthful. Not to strong but lots of flavour, it suits us fine.Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]By Mrs J Lloyd
